Bio: I am a junior at Virginia Tech, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Mathematics. This will be my second time in Arizona for summer research, and I am very excited. My interests in nanoscience, and its relevance to medicine and the environment has been steadily growing. This summer internship involving water treatment will help me in deciding what disciplines within science I want to tackle. I have fond memories at ASU and look to continue the tradition. In order to do that, I will have to call on my analytical ability, and my flexible learning style to make the biggest splash possible.
